Senior Learning Advisor (Associate Principal) 3MU
We are seeking a new addition to our team of highly skilled practitioners. The successful applicant will be part of a leadership team that develops groundbreaking educational practice that inspires students to be life long learners, that pushes the boundaries of teaching and learning and ensures the continual growth of the school.
The successful applicant will recognise a responsibility to promote, maintain and preserve the special character of Discovery 1. The successful applicant must possess excellent communication, leadership and management skills and be able to work collaboratively with the senior leadership team, BOT, staff and the community. We are a state funded school with a focus on future thinking and learning. We are based in the heart of the Christchurch CBD and use local resources to enable learning. We have a maximum roll of 200 students.
The new senior learning advisor would be working with a group of year 6, 7 and 8 students and the position will have a small component of management release.
