Learning Advisor: Steve Hunt
Hi I’m Steve, being a keen sportsperson myself, I look forward to creating opportunities for HB6 to get involved in a variety of sports and outdoor activities. I would also like to work with students who enjoy dramatic performance and are confident in front of an audience.
I am looking forward to working with self-motivated learners who enjoy questioning the world around them and want to be creative about both how they make sense of their world and how they share this new knowledge. I want to encourage my homebase to make effective use of a variety of Information and Communication Technologies as well as using experts within our community.
Environment
I think it is important to give senior students in our school opportunities to lead their own learning and take leadership roles. I also feel it is important to provide lots of scaffolding to support them as they become more independent in their work and allow them the freedoms to demonstrate their skills in doing this.
In 2013 HB 7 will have plenty of variety for learning opportunities, be an exciting and fun learning environment, and be a place with clear expectations around the quality and depth of learning.
