Kia ora and welcome to week 8
Three weeks to go until the end of Term 2.
IEM’s will be held in the last week. I sincerely trust that all the goals set at the last IEM have all been met and new goals can be set for Term 3.
PINS TERM 3: PINS will commence in Week 3 of term 3 and go until Week 8.
So we can ensure a smooth and positive start we would be most grateful if you could return your PINS workshop offers by Monday 16 July (first day back Term 3). Thank you.
We are also seeking a parent volunteer to collate all the PINS options in the Office in Term 3. This will save a heap of time for Elmarie. We look forward to offers of help. Thank you.
"It is easy to say that our schools should aim at achieving such flexibility in organisation that highly intelligent children can work with their equals in intellectual things, and can at the same time share other kids of activity with different groups of children so that all sides of their development can be cared for, but it is not easy to achieve such an aim in practice." ATTENDANCE: There have been a number of concerns raised recently regarding the school knowing (or not) whether children are absent on any particular day. This is also extremely important for children’s safety and so that we (and you) know that they are safely at school. It is the schools legal obligation to record attendance twice a day.
To ensure we know where your children are can you please phone the Office to leave a message stating that your child is absent and the reason. If you also wish to contact the LA and let them know that is great – however it is really important that you let the Office know in the first instance.
Children arriving late is also another concern especially if they arrive after 10.00am so again, we would appreciate a call to say your child will be late. Thank you for your cooperation.
